MNMC Local YouTube Uploader Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 29, 2026
MNMC Local YouTube Uploader is a private desktop utility operated by Chris Owens through InnovaFire Web Solutions for the Market News Made Clear YouTube channel.
This policy explains how the application accesses, uses, stores, and shares information obtained through Google and YouTube APIs.
Information the Application Accesses
The application may access or process:
- The authenticated YouTube channel’s name and channel ID
- Videos selected by the operator for upload
- Video titles, descriptions, tags, categories, and audience settings
- Custom thumbnails and caption files
- YouTube playlist identifiers
- OAuth authorization credentials issued by Google
The application does not request access to personal contacts, email messages, Google Drive files, payment information, or unrelated Google Account data.
How Information Is Used
Information is used only to perform actions requested by the operator for the Market News Made Clear YouTube channel. These actions may include uploading private videos, applying approved metadata, adding thumbnails and captions, placing videos in playlists, and confirming the destination channel.
The application does not use Google user data for advertising, audience profiling, credit decisions, financial recommendations, or unrelated analytics.
Local Storage
OAuth authorization credentials are stored locally on the operator’s Windows computer. Video files, thumbnails, captions, and publication information are also maintained locally by the operator.
The application does not operate a public user database or send OAuth credentials to an InnovaFire server.
Content uploaded to YouTube is stored and processed by Google according to Google’s own policies and terms.
Information Sharing
The application does not sell, rent, trade, or disclose Google user data to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.
Information is transmitted to Google and YouTube only as necessary to complete the actions authorized by the operator.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local OAuth credentials remain on the operator’s computer until they are deleted or access is revoked.
Authorization may be revoked through the Google Account’s third-party connections settings. The locally stored authorization token may also be deleted from the operator’s computer.
Videos and related information already uploaded to YouTube remain subject to the operator’s YouTube settings and must be managed or deleted through YouTube.
Security
Reasonable measures are used to protect locally stored credentials and limit application operations. Credentials are kept outside the video-production project and are not intentionally included in project files, source-control repositories, or publication packages.
No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Google API Services User Data Policy
MNMC Local YouTube Uploader’s use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated if the application’s functionality or use of Google APIs changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
